random pics

hmm i didnt do much exciting today or really anything new... so i decided to just post some random pictures... first is johanna and i at a break during school today and the second is my school bools... they are different than in the states, they dont really have lessons, its mostly just problems and stuff in the math ones, and reference diagrams in the biology and physics ones. These arent a good representation of all my classes because they ran out of books and didnt give me books for all the classes, so if we have homework i either have to find break time and borrow a book from someone, or just not do it... the classes are pretty much all lecture you dont ever really have class work except special two hour science classes where you have marked experiments... we had one today in physics i dont get a grade cause i dont really know whats going on... im just the special helper, i set up stuff, plug in the ostilloscope and what not its all good and then i ask my always very kind lab partner to help me! today my girl was really sweet and she would ask me if i understood after Irina Slutskaya oops i mean the teacher said something.. oh yes and also on thursdays we are supposed to bring lab coats... well thats not something that i have in my suitcase so i always just borrow Xaviers cause he has SVT during my physics/chemistry and just a note to add.. fashionista johnny weir in the class does have a stylish royal blue labcoat with a midsection tie to show off his flawless figure.. i almost fainted the first day i saw him wearing that and the rest of us are in the lovely stained white ones that fit like burlap sacks lol! anywyas the books that are missing are the common english book, the history book, the geography book, the german book, the philosophy texts, and this small notebook for ECJS i dont really need any of them for homework except the history one, im on a waiting list for that one... the other classes i just look on with someone and their homework is on sheets or i just dont do it like German... or i can do it in five minutes in the morning like English: name three ways to state the verb pouvoir... can, be able to, allowed to.. easy enough, done with english, no book needed, i do have another book that like economic english but we dont use it, i dont even take it to class!!!! anyways heres the pics!

dance class, school firsts

Today was dance class... of course my favorite part of the week!!! I must say that today it was quite strange definatley not the Pats School of Dance Broadway style tap dancing that Im used too!!! We were rolling around on the floor and stuff!!! Anyone at dance camp two years ago will remember that Snoopy Dog number or whatever... yeah it wa s kind of like that... same style!!! ITs stragne that we dont practice or add on to the same dance every week, we just kind of maybe use something from last week and make something new sometimes the same music... also this week was awesome because my tap shoes came in the mail!!! My host parents seemed a little shocked when I pulled them out of the box... i think that they were expecting heavenly tap shoes or something, but really they are anything but... they are those old capezio one screw tap shoes with the hard soles... man do i love those, and i only had a tan pair and Katy had some that were too small so i took them and spraypainted them black lol... and i have to put tapĂȘ and bandaides on the back to keep them from rubbing, but man are those shoes nice one you start working with them!!!! loves it loves it!! Ok also today at school I took my first ever test... this is SERIOUS BUSINESS... kind of like an interview with diane sawyer its SERIOUS BUSINESS... you have to go to this special room for testing called the Salle Polyvalente, im not sure what that means in english, but you sit at a table by yourself to stop those wandering eyes, and there is like another teacher in there, i guess so you dont feel tempted to ask questions or somthing, but this is like more serious than EOCs and it was just like a math test lol... im thinking no big, my score doesnt count anyways, but added in with the intimidating environment I found that I answered 3 calculus questions, well actually nine if you count the a b and c parts.. i was pretty much BURSTING WITH PRIDE when i left the salle polyvalente!!! i dont care if they are right or wrong.. i freaking did that calculus... and the teacher gave me a wow look... because i tell you one thing, i have no clue whats going on in that class... it could be a class taught in russian about how to grow an alien from a barrel of chicken feel and i wouldnt know the difference, they are always using these greek symbols AND NO IM NOT TALKING ABOUT PI... does anyone know what a lambda is???? i know what it looks like, but im not sure what it stands for but he says it all the time blah blah lamba blah lambda moins quatre lambda.. lol sure im thinking of a little baby sheep all cuddly mmm lambs!!! kind of like those church christmas plays... little kids dressed up as lambdas... what was that play the speckled sheep or something that I was in that time at church... hmm it slipps my mind the name of that.. but i believe it was an ugly ducking story maybe lol!!! I have a doctors appointment tomorrow that sylvie made, thank you, but now i feel pretty much well, or at least getting there.. ive never had something like this that just goes away... but really it has... it doesnt hurt at all anymore and the spots on my tonsils are diminishing/shrinking!!! exciting!!! but i might still have to go to the doctor or something for a physical for dance class... but im not sure if they have got that sorted out that the rotary one counts or something... it hasnt been mentioned to me in a while!! Ouch, also i recieved the spring break pages from the annual and i have to say the thought was nice, but im a little dissapointed... majorly actually... i wrote pretty much three pages for this and only got a butchered quote out of it...and at the time this happed alex and i were SOPHOMORES not JUNIORS and in the article it says the phrase COMPETING IN THE TOUR talking about the tour... come on people, its a tour that means SHOWS... not COMPETITION.. htey are just showing off... especially plushenko!!!misquote, the woman at the desk did not tell us about the skaters, it was the bellman on the elevator however plus to the writer who used my word SKATER-SIGHTINGS... its an adrienne dalton original...we have some mispelled skatr names here.. sashas last name is spelled cohEn not cohAn... cohAn is a composer of american tunes like yankee doodle and whatnot... also jonnys last name is spelled wEIr not wIEr... there is a photo and it doesnt say the most important person who is in the photo and i know i wrote it on the back... ts SASHA COHEN people!!! Kudos for nice try, but ouch check your facts as a good skater friend of mine would say... thats just unacceptable.. my heart is somewhat broken but im still smiling inside at the same time because I JUST LOVE FIGURE SKATING AND A CHANCE TO HAVE MY FACE IN THE ANNUAL BESIDE SASHA COHEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EXCELLENT!!! i knew that spring break was worth writing about also kudos for spelling Evgeny Plushenko right... how can you spell that right but not sasha cohen or johnny weir, you get the strange russian name right??? Oh well... on a brighter note, its excellent, thanks for including me in your book its awesome yes i love my figure skating... wow im feeling slightly critical today... maybe i should go sit and have a chat with doctor phil.... or oprah calm me down a bit im just hyper or something, must be the dancing in my own tap shoes that had me feeling the groove or something... and id also like to make a shoutout to my new bestest friend in the world MATT ANDERS for COMMENTING ON MY BLOG MULTIPLE TIMES.. thats just great... matt, you could have a fan club, and when you get it started tell them to follow in your footsteps and post in my blog... honorable mention to DEBBIE MELTON with the comments here and there!!!! come on people see how awesome their comments are??? yeah jealous i know... go see dr phil with me!!! Coupe Icare written portion and MALADE

So, yesterday we went to this hang gliding type festival and hour and a bit away from home. It was Olivier Corentin and I because Sylvie was still in Paris... it was actually lots of fun... I believe we were watching (in figure skating terms) the exhibitons because the paraponters were dressed up in strange outfits like frogs or pirates or dinosaurs and stuff... I was really funny... and appeared to be quite dangerous because they vision appeared to be slightly obstructed by some of the costumes. ALso, along with those specialty acts they paraponted with a bald eagle and caught it while they were still in the air... it was really cool! We sat of the ground, there wasnt actually any grand stands or anything everyone, mostly earthy looking people were just sitting on the ground, we had hot dog pic nics! But anyways, yeah these men, and occasionally women just have these parachute things on the ground, and they run and lift them and then jump off a cliff and they fly! Its a little scary to watch, because sometimes things do go wrong and they have to be abruptly stopped by spotters before they go plummeting over the edge... olivier said that people die every year at this competition! Oh yes, and it was blazing hot! I actually sunburned my arms a little bit, but as we walked in the door, we were handed these pretty shoobie hats that say rhone alpes region, its a sponsoring bank but anyways i was sporting that hat throughout the day lol! i think you can see it in one of the pictures! But it was quite great and i definately had a great time.. also some of you would like to hear that I used the porta potty there and it was a turkish toilet!!! my first one of this tri^p... im getting better!

Moving on to today Je suis malade... I challenge you to translate that! Just kidding Ill tell you... Im sick! I got up this morning, didnt feel too hot, just like man do I not want to get out of bed... but of course I did anyways, and by the time I got to school and ate my little snack thing at 10 I realised that my throat hurt really really bad! But I was like oh well Ill survive, so I spent the whole day at school my throat hurt and I would be hot, take off jacket, cold, put on jacket, like 4361560468401 times in math class! But its pretty ignorable for the rest of the day, I had PE i was a little spaced but helped my team win some volleyball matches then when I got home sylvie was home and I was like I THINK IM SICK.. so we went and looked and indeed it looks like it has been snowing on my tonsils!! Little white dots everywhere.. tell you what that means STREP THROAT!!! yay fun marrily! Actually its not that bad as im pretty perky right now after sylvie gave me some sort of meds and im been eating on these mint flavored losenges... actually i was just talking to hannah and she didnt even notice that i was ill today at school lol.. it was a good cover up... and i ate ravioli today for dinner and all my lunch, so cest pas grave right?? or at least thats what I say... syvlie doesnt know if its just short term virus or if it needs antibiotics so she said in the morning if i have a fever we go to doctor if not i go to school lol! oh yes and Im not fond of the thermometer here... She handed it too me, I was about to put it in my mouth and she says no wait stop its for your behind... yeah thats right... not a good experience... one minute with that thing up my ***! anywyas i survived the experience fever 101 like 38 celcius or something so im not sure how i feel about well just take the fever again in the morning... how about not??? cant you just feel my forehead??? Anyways, I am ill... so Im going to bed early tonight... i dont really feel bad, especially with the meds but Im realy tired today from having to push the limits at school like running laps in pe and stuff when i really was feeling bad then! It was so strange in pe i was red faced hot and sweaty but freezing cold... thats when i was like I NEED THE DOCTOR.. well see how it goes tomorrow... no worries, no alarms, im fine!!! :-) :-D or at least im fine enought to not need my temperature taken AHH RUN FOR YOUR LIVES ITS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday

Ok Im going to post twice today just because the days were so different and I forgot to post yesterday. Yesterday I had horse back riding lessons again, it was early, and no, it wasnt fun, its a lot of work, its pretty scary, and Im never really sure if Im doing the moves right but I definatley feel like im not lol... after horse riding i pretty much did nothing. I stayed on the compuer, made a little dorr hanger thingy with my name on it, did my homework, and rearranged the closet. That night after dinner Olivier, Corentin, and I all watched Batman Begins. CAnt say it was my kind of movie, but it did give me something to do lol... ok heres the pictures from horse riding lessons...

Pictures from the rotary meeting

So, I havent posted a lot about the Rotary club here, but I do spend a good amount of time with the people of the Rotary club.. In a nutshell, these people are all pretty loaded... they are drive quite large Mercedes and the women always have these lavishly expensive outfits and jewelry on. I have never been to dinners like this, its always very nice to be involved in such high class society like this, i am truly getting exposed to it all. These people are all really extremely nice and interested in us and the meetings are at this couples extremely fancy mansion and they always have a caterer come and prepare the meal. They also have a special room for orderves, thats where you see the champagne pictures and stuff... but anywyas we had the dinner, and these are not my pictures but M chambard sent them to me so ill post them... this is us eating at the meeting, thats me, no thats not a new jacket, its monicas, thats monica across from me and hannah beside me.
again us, chowing down... monica chowing down lol... johanna and stephanie, they were sitting at a different table, we have assigned seats... name tags name tags! antoher one of the other table... oh yes and dont be confused, we do have to wear our blazers its just that of course they are in the COAT ROOM!!! and yes, the coat room does have its own bathroom... good example of the classy women, look at the silk jacket and the jewelry on the woman in yellow lol! they always have like five minutes of a meeting, this is our club president, the one with the moustache, we dont know his name, hes just the guy with the black mustache, and hes exchanging banners with the guest district govenor the guy in the lovely green suit! they sit at the fancy table... there is always a fancy table, like for the king and queen, but its for the honored guests and the officers and then the students and the other rotarians sit at the very fancy, but not as fancy as the kings, kind of like the peasant tables, but very rich peasants lol! oh yes! here we are sporting the blazers lol! this is in the orderves room by the way, its actually like a seperate guest house thing, to be really specific this is the whole group, thats m chambard in the middle who sends the pictures, hes totally my favorite, he lives in teche and thats his house, so hes the one who always takes me home, and his wife is the very petite one in the front with her arms crossed who is also very sweet! please please look at these women... i forget her name but second row red glasses is up in the ranks and she is MAJOR so nice but so major, as victoria beckham would say... like she always has the big time blow dry and make up job and everything!!! alright, thats all i got..

Palais Ideel de Cheval

so, i started to write last night about night before last, but this terrible storm came and I had to turn off the computer... anyways, nothing exciting today except this rotary woman picked johanna hanna me monica and stephanie up from school and took us to this place to get a group picture made, it was cheesy and i dont think it was worth the hassle of what do i do with the blazer during school?????
Im going to be honest... last night I just conpletely forgot to write... and it wasnt that I was really doing anything, I just forgot! But one note that one should write in capital, bold letters and put it on their fridges is that... last night I took it upon myself, without assistance, and without scissors to sew a patch onto my blazer... and let me tell you, even though its slightly crooked... it just looks great lol! this was my first sewing project, ever! i didnt exactly get the edges down either, but its decent... not really bragable, but im bragging anyway because i feel like it! but, yesterday, stephanie came over, and olivier took us to this crazy place that he told us it was a castle, but it was actually like the craziest thing EVER... its like this big rock carving with rooms and stairs and stuff, its hard to describe without the pictures, and my camera died so im waiting for the ones from stephaine, but anyways its was really awesome and we climed up in it i suggest googleing that name to get the full story, from what i read, and it was french, so this may or may not be accurate, it was a poor man who wanted to be remembered for something, and he didnt travel, but he read books, and from the descriptions he read in the books he carved things, that generally dont look like the actual thing, but nice try! anyways, heres the pics... the ones with me in them will be here soon... be patient!

pictures from today

from the trail....

Today, Somewhat Exciting

So, today was somewhat exciting lol! Well even though it had a lack of excitment, it was actually quite fun... so, i never really know whats going on so, I never know if they have something planned or not! usually its like, i think that im going to have a day of relaxation, and they come to my room and say, we are leaving in five minutes to go here or go there... so, i never know what to plan for... so today, i was just playing it by ear, and they all of a sudden say, why dont you call your friends... im like OK but are they coming with us or what, and they say no, just plan something... so I called up Stephanie and asked her what she was doing, she said that they were going to a castle, so i decided to tag along, her family is always doing something to show her the area... so we went to this castle, it wasnt very big, and it smelled like antiques and old people but it was pretty interesting, i guess... kind of reminded me of the budget version with missing pecies of the biltmore house and like a sixteenth of the size lol... the best part was the underground cave, not basement, cave with stalactites and stuff, seems i have been cave dwelling lately abd also the gardens were nice, the place had nice little streams and frogs and stuff! Then, we went to this trail and took a very long wildernes hike around this lake, which was very long, but pretty. then, we went back to stephanies house and played some games and whatnot!

oops and i almost forgot that this morning i had a horse back riding lesson... and for those of you who have never horse back ridden, its a whole lot harder than you think... first, i had to clean the horse and all that stuff, then gdt on, which is hard if you have minimal muscle on your arms! so, at first we were going real slow (there were 5 other people in the lesson) in cirlces like a pony ride, it was quite nice, and then we started to trot!!! ahh they kept screaming, stand up, sit down, stand up, sit down in french, and didnt really understand what the heck i was supposed to be doing, but its something about balance! It hurt, we did it for an hour, i cant say that it was too enjoyable, not really my thing, and about every five minutes i had to be corrected because i wasnt holding the reins right lol! i think i was the worst student, i just had absolutely no clue what i was doing, but i survived! with my horse back riding pants and my helmet and my vest, and my chaps, and my boots! lol i was looking pretty professional, but man was i horrible lol! and now it hurts pretty vicioulsy to sit down, and i have bruises on the area where my butt cheeks connect to my legs, and also between my knees, those are from stand up, sit down, while the horse runs! I did however conquer the main parts of the lesson even though badly, and my mom says, you look very concentrate... and yes i was trying like mondo extra hard, i was just bad lol! but i did do diagonals, and cross passing! it hurt, i was confused, holding on for dear life, but i got the job done... walked a bit like john wayne for a while, then i was done, enough horse for one week... his name was Kaine, he was somewhat uncoroporative, and olivier told me that horses can sense if you have experience or not, and i have come to the conclusion that i was so much of a blindfolded beginner that he didnt know what to do lol... he was probably considering just laying down and rolling in the grass with me lol! but anyways, i did some horse riding, my butt hurts, those are the facts!

dinner time, reading US magazine after that! Wonder whats in store for tomorrow!!!

Nothing Much

Nothing much exciting to report, but yesterday I recieved some mail! Just a couple thank yous! That you Natalia and Eduard for the package of goodies, the pencils and erasers were a necessity cause I only have one and it is at that stage where the lead pushes back up inot it! Also, Blades of Glory, one of the best movies in the universe (although im somewhat partial to ice princess) was in there! i immediately watched it and also all the special features that it came with, ate the coconut candy immediately, well most of it, there are still two pecies left! There were also some tabloidish magazines in there to read... excellent because Ive been readint the same intouch for a month that i bought at the asheville airport lol! i know that thing front and back! Also, I recieved a letter from St. Timothy. Thank you, written in it was that my address has been given out at the church, if you are reading this, feel free to send something, i will recieve it!
so, nothing much has happened exciting in the last couple of days, just sitting at school, and i noticed that mme lutrin, the chemistry teacher has amazing resemblance to world champion figure skater irina slutskaya circa 2001 and also that there is a quite attractive boy in my class that has the likeness of johnny weir! these figure skating personalities jusst seem to pop while you have nothing better to think about cause you dont know what an onde is and the dictionary gives you an example of something unrealted... take the notes and smile, but secretly you are a vegetable inside lol... actually after a while i finally got it that we were talking about waves in a slinky and not in the ocean lol... please specipy ms slutskaya! i knew more what was going on there than i did in my philosophy class... we read some passage from plato about a cave, we were supposed to explain the symbolism... i didnt understand the passage, it said something random about puppets and prisoners in a cave and we were supposed to deduct all this stuff... lets just say when my sheet of paper ran out i threw in the towel lol... i didnt understand the basics of the story... how is there a road with marionette stands in a small cave??? tell the signifiganceof the fire... im embarassed now with my answer after coming home to read the english translation that doesnt make sense either, but it definatly doesnt have any thing to do with the fact that they never see the whole picture because the fire is behind them and they will never know the source of the light! lol the significance is found in the SHADOWS and i didnt know that there were shadows in the story lol... in the english version i see that, but i still dont get it, even with the explanation! I did complete my homework as good as i could though today during one of my breaks! Lunch was gross today but i ate it anyways! it was salmon with gravy and spinach blach! but its ok... ive started a tradition of coming home and making a sandwich with pecies of pound cake and nutella... helathy i know! but so delicious! tomorrow morning i have my first ever horse back riding lesson... im totally ready for this, i have the whole outfit, the jockey pants the boot covers, the boots, the had, ive got it all! im a little nervous cause it made my butt hurt last time... for days! sitting was no longer easy especially in this metal folding chair (remind you of anyone?) well have a contest... firse one whose accurate figure skating knowledge who emails me or comments the answer gets something crazy written about them in my blog for the whole world to see-- now that weve had millions of hits (yeah right this is brevard that we are talking about!) lol!!!! i know hard to skip that opprotunity lol!
hmm it appears that im rambling! it just happens because i dont ever get to talk like a motor mouth like i do at home at school... except at lunch, me and the girls are pretty much the loudest ones in the cafeteria.. you have to get the loud out! but thats why i ramble cause i dont get to talk much, and even if i do, its very difficult to express feelings... its more just statements. We are going to German. I am going to horse riding lessons tomorrow. What is this meat? *The shutters are open. yeah its pretty much just statements and the occasional question, never just conversation, i just listen to those lol! its getting better with time though, now i can answer when my friends are looking for and english word!
Does phone rhyme with house?
seacrest out! is american idol on tv still? i never ever ever watch tv here... no one does... like three tiles in a month have i turned on the tv! so bizarre... i didnt know that i could live without tv... i bet the tv n this house gets turned on once every three days for someone to watch the news, then they cut it off... and i dont watch the news! bizarre... i challenge you americans still in the states to do that... three hours of tv a month! beat that! ooo another challenge, this entry getting competitive, and rambling, i arelady seacrested out and im still going lol! last time
seacrest-out!

Dance Class

So, today I had dance class... I was rightfully very excited, as one could imagine... im taking CLAQUETTES 2 which is pretty much TAP DANCING TWO... it was lots of fun and i really enjoyed it. No, it wasnt pats, and probably nothing will live up to the expectations that i have because of pats but, it really was enjoyable and i will definately be continuing it! there are about 12 people in the class and its pretty average stuff... like draw backs and stuff! we learned a little dance, similar to those that you learn at those classes after the competitions... it was strange that some of the class was adults and some was teenagers... there was an adult guy beside me and he couldnt flap and it was making his life quite difficult... oh yes, and the class was incredibly difficult and painful because i dont have my own tap shoes... theyre coming in the mail! but anyways, they went to look for some, and most the girls have mary jane type shoes but i have very small feet and they ended up giving me a pair of beginners, some of the class also had them, but you know the shiney ones with the button things instead of laces, yeah thats what they were, and let me tell you, steps are quite difficult in those little shoes... i have a couple of blisters on my middle toes, but they lived, and my missing toe nail from the applebees incident big toe wasnt really "feeling" those shoes either! but anyways, despite the shoes, i had a great time, and even though the classes arent at my level, they are good practice just keeping me in a pair of tap shoes (preferably my own) but i didnt let it stop me i loved it loved it loved it... but the teacher has a different style than us at pats, shes more flowy and lyrically like, so im trying to adjust to that methode... she kept reminding me that i needed to relax and bend my knees.!... oh yeah and the french version of SUZIE Q is way different... i dont even know what that was... but i picked up pretty fast on itit was all switched and stuff but same concept lol! oh yes and we danced to that TRY TO MAKE ME GO TO REHAB I SAY NO NO NO song... it was pretty interesting, and im not sure if the teacher was wearing pants under her shirt or just tights, it was slightly disturbing, and mysterioius whether she was or not lol! but anyways, oh yes, also my host sister from my next family, LAURIE is also in the class, and shes really nice, she graduated high school last year so, i know i will be able to continue with her family so im really really pretty much excited to have this class at least until April... i didnt know how much i missed my tap shoes until today! so, ill be looking forward to all my wednesdays! ok... and yes, i havent heard from a lot of you dance people, and i want to, so hopefully this will spark some interest! gros bisous!!

monotonus schedule

So, i havent written in a few days, simply cause nothing really exciting happened... ive sort of got into a routine and thats just how it is everyday, nothing exciting! But its different than in the states, so ill show tell you the process... I wake up at 700... olivier usually comes to wake me up, but he comes about 645 and i usually fall back asleep so, i have an alarm clock as a backup... usually i catch myself falling asleep just in time. then, i put my clothes on, this isnt difficult because i dont have a lot of choices, as you can imagine, then i head to the bathroom to do thos procedures... its then 720 and im picking a snack to take to school for the 1000 break then i walk to the bus stop... id say two minute walk, freezng cold gloves, jacket zipped all the way up, then wait ten minutes for the bus, school busses are not like they are in the states, they are more like tour busses with individual reclining seats and they play music, and it is just very nice... then i go to school.... classes classes classes boring math classes lunch classes confusing german, then to the bus! its always difficult to find the bus because they dont have numbers cause the busses always change, you have to look for the scrolling sign that will have your town on it and get that one! then i cole home, generally get on the computer, then do homework, which isnt near as stressful as in the states cause not having the same classes everyday means that its probably not due for three or four days then dinner, back to computer, homework then bed! nine hour school days are very long, so im usually snoozing by 1030! for example, now im sitting at the computer doing homework waiting for dinner, CHALLENGE... find where it goes in the schedule that i just typed!!!! ugh, im doing SVT homework thats kind of like biology, but i have two different classes of it... instead of electives like cooking we have electives like physics... so i elected to take biology or actually SVT science of le vie et terre which is earth and life sciences... its pretty interesting the special class we use microscopes and stuff but i only have it two hours a week... i already did my english homework... easy enough... since french people dont make the same sounds as we do, they have to practice making the sounds so, the homework was making words that rhyme and the starter words were things like BAT and RING so it wasnt too difficult... but for them... like the girl sitting beside me in class asked if PHONE rhymed with HOUSE... that answer was NO, TRY ALONE! lol its lots of fun, i feel like a celebrity in that class lol! ok next entry!

Caveman

ok it just took like 5452867444374897135497 minutes to fix this mosterous gap in this message... show some appriciation! lol
Today was lots of fun, even more fun than horseback riding! Today, we went to a cave... it was this huge cavern about 30 minutes away and it was so so so awesome! IT was just like a door into the mountain and it opened up to this huge room with lakes and rivers and everything! There were stalactites hanging everywhere, and it was freezing cold in there... at the end there was a light show displaying all of the strange slimey features of the cave! Youll just have to see the pictures, its too difficult to explain! After the cave, we went and walked around the town bordering the caves, in a valley of the alpes, similar to teche, but this was very cliffy and water oriented, there was even a water museam, and very strange houses, almost built into the cliffs! here, we stopped and had a drink at a cafe. also today, we celebrated Corentins birthday, so weve been eating lots of yummy chocolate cake mmm!
