So, today i had to get up early to go to the school with my mom... for me this turned out to be not so pleasant... so, because its likely that we will speak english they split up all the exchange students... unfortunately i was assigned the hardest of all the classes for no reason, and im even the youngest... i got put in Terminal: Sciences... terminal is like being a senior with all the 18 year olds and sciences is the most difficult of the pathways.. even hannahs sister who just went through terminal said.. poor girl... gasp! so, i got a stack of books... and im not sure i could even do this in english... its like a load of AP classes for a high school senior... hannas classes in Premiere:litterature are like preschool compared to mine... i have CHEMISTRY...PHYSICS...MATHS...EARTH SCIENCE...PHILOSOPHY...ANOTHER EARTH SCIENCE and ENGLISH i asked my mom why i got all the hardest classes and she said that she didnt know why cause she doesnt make the descisions... ugh but oh well its all about the experience right (fake smile thinking about those sciences!) in my opinion is one thing to try and its another thing to be assasinated... and yes, those classes will probably kill me!! well at least now i can say i know what its like to be in a harder class than chemistry honors with ms.case... right guys? (perfect thing to comment about!! "oh yes i know all about chemistry with mr case"... every body smile for stoicheiometry and lab glasses!) but on to the more fun parts of the day... after that we went to this organic foods festival where my family was working fo a booth that was protesting that ingrid betencourt is being held in prison in columbia or something... this kind of thing is very hard to translate for them and me i thinkg its along the same lines as nelson mandela of south africe...but... she is a french citizen, and her family is here and thats why they are doing this, and instead of signing a petition they take pictures with a sign that says LIBERTAD meaning liberty freedom, you know, christines nephew was also there who two years ago went to australia his name is CAMI and he speaks english so we had a nice conversation about his apartment burning down and then we took a picture with the libertad sign... when i get the website for the stand ill give it to you! but anyways at the festival we ate lunch and had organic french fries and lamb sausages and they were very good! christine and i walked around and looked at all the booths took some cute pictures... ill show you! then, i went to hannahs house and stephanie and johanna came too and we walked to vinay and mingled in and out of some stores and then we came back and had crepes oh yes and they also have these iced teas like in the states but its strange that it comes in a bottle of syrup and you mix it with water to drink every glass... strange but good! then we watched along came polly in french... i caught a little bit! overall it was really fun though cause we all just click... were going through the same things except their school classes are way easier... so i have slightly more to fret about! but tomorrow i think im going to grenoble with hannah and johanna and stephanie and im not sure what were doing.. none of us could translate what her mom said.. i thought that i heard something about a prison lol! so , anyways im going to eat dinner even though im not hungry after those crepes lol! oh yeah i forgot that yesterday when i was on that crazy spell of being brave my mom and i put up a michelle kwan poster in place of the previous tweetie bird... its just great... never fails to make me happy just that sight of MK in the morning! lol MK on the wall |
the booth about the imprisoned woman thats my mom on the ground talking down the sign and my dad standing up in the black shirt

So you had to be an early bird today and get up before noon? Hope you have an alarm clock cause you're going to need it. I know, I know - you're not a morning person but you're going to survive. Speaking of surviving, don't get discouraged about the classes you've been assigned in school. You might have already had some of these but just the English version. They will work with you. So be postive and things will work out for you. You're a smart chic and you can figure it out. If you need help don't be too proud to ask for it.
By the way on Friday night the Roberson Rams did beat the Brevard Blue Devils with a score of 27-7. We thought we were going to be watching them in the rain but the storm passed over and saved the night. Roberson has one of their toughest games this coming Friday against Reynolds. There could be blood shed if you know what I mean! Serious stuff!
Enjoy seeing all the folks you are hanging out with now days. Keep posting those pictures!
Have a relaxing day in France on Sunday. Do you folks go to church over there? They probably have something similiar but it's called something else. You'll have to be like Tyler and build you up some credits so you don't have to go every Sunday. Tyler has ran out of credits and he will be going to church tomorrow.
Take care and keep us updated on your daily events!
