Kentucky Derby

So, I didnt get to write yesterday, so this entry is about yesterday! Yesterday morning, Sylvie and I went to the market in St Marcellin, same deal as the american open air markets, the produce, meat, and cheese, then the clothes, and random nick nacks... nothing there that i really wanted.. we didnt buy anything, it wasnt too exciting, not my thing! lol Next, we came home and had lunch, we had salmon, i usually dont like seafood, but this was pretty tolerable... I ate all of it... I was actually quite good! Then, we went to DIGITAL, its kind of like the french version of Best Buy we went there because the rotary club changed to policy on phones, and the family cant just give me one, so, we had to go get a new one! NExt, we went to the dnace studio where we finalized signing up for the class that I am taking: Claquettes II... i dont currently have any tap shoes, but they said theyd loan me a pair for the first couple of classes until mine come in the mail! NExt, and most exciting, we went to the horse stables... my family owns a horse, Joy, and are very into horse back riding, so they decided to sign me up too! So, every Saturday morning, I take horse back riding lessons! Im actually very excited... something new for me! But, before the lessons, I had to learn the basics, so I learned to mount the horse, and also the basics of holding on! We trotted around the ring thing and then went on a horse trail! I had no clue how painful horse back riding was, but lets just say for a day i walked like a cowboy with bowed legs and everything becuase my between the legs regions and my butt and my legs were quite sore, and still are! To shift around in this chair is quite painful! Ill probably be bedridden after the one hour lesson on saturday lol! Then, last night we had a rendez vous with family firends, Guillames family, and Jeannes family... i think it was somewhat in honor of me cause they were all looking at my things that i had brought, a book and a collage, and then watched the video that i made about good ole brevard! by the way brevard will never know small town until they come to teche! one stack bar... thats it! but anyways, i had a really great time, me munched on orderves and i tought the french kids how to play the card game BS and they loved it, and even though it was difficult to explain, they caught on and figured out the tricks faster than most americans do lol! And thats why i didnt write last night cause they didnt leave until midnight; and i passed out immediately after they left; that horse riding had me tired out! heres some landmark pictures of my first time ever on a horse!
