Doin' Stuff

Ha ha so, no concernes I wasnt abducted by aliens, or at least not this time, I was simply doin stuff and thats why I havent posted in like a week, actually less, no big! So, Trying to catch up, lets see, well Ill start with, on Friday the french teacher wasnt here, and here in france they dont have subs so if the prof is not there you just dont have that class! So, during the break, we went to Stephanies house, all of us exchange girls and while we were there they decided that my hair was flat or something, so Hannah got the scissors and I got my first bathroom hair cut, and actually I couldnt be more satisfied, and Mathilde told me that she liked my hair today lol! So, thanks to hannah I have a cool new, more layered 'do! Heres some pics of the situation! Moving on to saturday, so after you know what in the morning, ill refrain from saying it as to spare the onlookers of and flying choice words... but afterwards I went to Grenoble shopping... All us exchange students went including Eirin and Alex who are with the other prograns and also went Nicholas, Steph, Laurent, and Baptiste. We had a really great time, bought some cool stuff, I shopped mostly with Johanna and Monica and I actually think I spent the least amount of money! Happy with y new purchases, i got a coat, and two sweaters, id like to have had more time, but we got lost trying to find Eirin on the way there, so our time was limited and its hard shopping with multiple other people! Moving on to Sunday. Sunday was family day! And even though that sound a little ugh, it was actually really fun. We went to Lyon, of course I slept in the car, what else is there to do after being woken up early on the weekends, and we went to this little craft fair, and unlike the ones in the US you do actually have really great artists, that look like museam peices to me. Then, we strolled around the old mideval parts of Lyon, it was pretty nice, a little dirty feeling, but thats what you get when you pile a bunch of tourists and their dogs in one place with winding alleyways!! We had an excellent lunch, I had sausages, we seem to eat a lot of that here, by the way today at school for lunch they served Mussles they were a bit slimey but the french fries accompanying them were quite nice! But anyways, then after that we took a tour of the historic city, i actually understood bits and pecies! Then we took this train thing to the top of a hill and went to this huge cathedral and it overlooked all of Lyon, one of those, Wow, thats great, but it would be cooler if it was Brevard and you could be like, oh yeah, theres my house! ANyways, currently Im reading up on Britney Spears and whats going on in her life right now, shes great isnt she? Ok off to the figure skating websites!!!!
